Default DFA: BigCountry's XXL 7 Round Mockery

http://draftacademy.blogspot.com/

Redskins picks:

1. Rey Maualuga, LB USC. We needed two things in the first round, offensive line and defensive playmaking. Defense wins titles.

3. TJ Lang, OL Western Michigan. Player on the rise who can play all 5 OL position and can be developed into a starter to replace either Jansen or Thomas.

5. Joel Bell, OT Furman. Project LT with good feet and good smarts. Needs to hit the wight room.

6. Pierre Walters, DE Eastern Illinois. My favorite pick. A hard working guy with some quickness and a high motor. Maybe he's next in line of small school defensive lineman taken late in the draft who end up making pro bowls

7. Marquez Branson, FB/TE Central Arkansas. Mike Sellers won't play forever and Branson is an athletic kid who could contribute right away in certain packages catching the ball out of the backfield and eventually replace Sellers.

Not bad BC - I be OK with it IF it played out that way. I still prefer OL first then LB but what ever.

Great job, BC.

If the Skins manage to miss out on Lawrence Sidbury by 3 freaking spots in the 3rd round, I'll pull my hair out...

Also - do you really think Macho will fall to the 3rd round?

If that. No position is hurt by bad 40 times like corners and what's worse is there have been questions on how fast he comes out of his back pedal. He can make plays and catches the ball almost like a wideout though so he'll go to a team that plays a lot of zone.

Wow 7 full rounds, impressive. I am not high on Ray but it is a sensible skins draft.

Looking at your draft overall though it makes me want to trade down. Oher, Beaty and Britton at bottom of the first rounds. All these DEs falling to bottom of first: Tyson Jackson, Everette Brown, Michael Johnson, English. MACK at 44, loadholt in the third. Wow, trade down. I don't know about all these guys falling, but someone has to give and I think there will be tremendous value at the bottom of first and into the second round.

Very nice first round.... sadly Moreno drops all the way to the Eagles.

I'm not that sure about Matthews though, I think he will drop more than #15 to late first.
