Default The "I'm handing in my fan card if..." Pledge

I've heard from a handful of you that you are willing to give up your fandom of this team if X, Y or Z happens on draft day.

So, I'm giving you the opportunity to man up and post your intentions in this thread. That way, us "true fans" will know exactly who will not be with us in the future...

i'm likely heading to the firing range tomorrow afternoon, and i'm printing out a picture of snyderrato to replace my target based on what happens tomorrow. regardless, though, i'll still have my 21 jersey on in Dallas on Nov. 22 and i'll go to the bar every weekend to watch the game, so it'll just be a temporary anger problem.

I'll wear a bag on my head if we hire Romo, Deon or Jeff George again. I'll turn my card in if we bring back Bruce Smith to get "one more sack".

from an emotional standpoint, i'm sure that i'd love to turn in my fan's license if we draft Dirty Sanchez, but the reality is that i'm never going to do it. i've been a Skins fan all my life and it's not a voluntary thing for me, crazy as it may sound. it's just kinda who i am.

the main difference for me is that i've gone from a fan who believes that we will be winning soon, to one who just doesn't believe that anymore. our front office just doesn't understand how to run a successful football team in the NFL. i truly believe that now. i don't think that we'll be a serious playoff contender any time soon. am i still a fan? yes. i guess i always will be, but that doesn't mean that i have to drink the kool-aid too.

No matter how far this FO runs this once proud franchise in to the ground I'll never relinquish my fan card. I'll bleed B&G untill I die and even then I'm looking for George Allen when I get through the gates so we can hang out and talk trash about those fracken cowboys lol...HTTR!

Nothing short of Snyder being busted in some sort of Michael Jackson/Catholic priest scandal using the franchise for that will cause me to force me to give up my "fan card."

You'd have to rip out my heart to get my fan card but there is one thing that would do it: If the Skins ever moved to another city.

My fan wallet, on the other hand, is officially closed until this team gets real management.

+1

Just 'cause I'm tired of seeing this team ran like a fantasy football team, I'll never stop being a fan. Just not a fan of the people who are running things.

I've done my part by not buying any Redskins gear in a long long time. That's the way you hurt Snyder. Stop buying Redskins gear and don't go to games. That's my stance.

This is my sentiment. I will always be a Redskin fan, but Snyder just climbed over top of Hanoi Hannah on my most hated list after his latest presser.

Wouldn't they only be moving personnel and not the history of the team? Well, if it were the case, they could take Dan's history with them. We'd have a gap in the history of our franchise but I could with that.

As for relinquishing my fan card, it would never happen.

NEVER! Though, it's funny that you hear all that bravado in other threads but here... Not so much.

The Redskins are like an abusive spouse. No matter how much they hurt me, I stick with them (they'll change, they said they would!).
