Robert Henson? ESPN rates the guy out as a 20 out 100. BTW, check out the ratings of the other players in the round, lol.

Ugh.

Anyway, I guess we'll have to see how that turns out.

either good or bad, sanchez and stafford are most likely gonna be starting or playing a lot,how much depends on how much better they are than any other of each teams qb rosters.good or bad,i think they'll make the bigger impact.

To me, that just shows that Henson wasn't on anyone else's radar. In a best case scenario, we might have picked up a guy that turns into a huge steal for us. Statistically, however, the odds are against that.

i seriously doubt that C Horton was on anybody's list this time last year..
we might very well have a low round draft pick or UDFA player develop ..

According to that list, the Browns are the best 6th round drafting team in the NFL...

Not sure how much weight this list gives to the factor of the team situation a rookie is thrusted into. For example, Joe Flacco had a huge year with the Ravens because they desperately needed a starting QB. Had Flacco being drafted by the Colts, how much impact would he have had?

In the case of Robert Henson, he is certainly walking into a situation where LB spots are open. So, if he doesn't make an impact, the only person holding him back would be himself.

kiper said a couple months ago that he had Horton ranked as a 2nd rounder but his workouts hurt him tremendously, so unless Kiper's lying through his teeth (which wouldn't surprise me) there was at least one believer.

Amen. Being a fan causes hope to overwhelm reason - being a Redskins fan means we are the most passionate in sports (sorry Red Sox nation), and hence prone to more diversion from logic.

My belief is that all rookies are a crap shoot! It is interesting to note, that as HanburgerBum said, how much the Team situation impacts a rating.
Beyond the impact to the rating, I am concerned about the Team philosophy. Will Henson be utilized according to his skills, worked through the system to improve the skills and be a contributor?
That's where the crap shoot is for this player(Make that all rookies for the Redskins!)
