Horton out 4-6 weeks. Possibly for the season -- Press conference
Tore a ligament in his big toe. Could be out 4-6 months if he needs surgery.
Portis doesn't remember the play. Zorn says he doubtful for this weekend.
Mike Williams is out for two weeks. Ligament tear in his ankle. Going to see a specialist. Could be 4 weeks if he needs surgery.
Hunter is going to try to go this week.
Blades played well with knee surgery 11 days ago.
Campbell should be good to go.
Levi will be starting at LT.
Asked about possibly signing Larry Johnson. Possibly

Zorn is concerned about all of the injuries.
We'll be competitive. Put the best guys that we have out there to compete. Guys WANT to compete and play hard.
Put the challenge out to them at halftime of the Falcons game. Players responded. Buges went after a couple of individuals. Needed to discover things about themselves. When pushed, they saw that there was more inside.
Looking at it realistically, playing well with all injuries. Hanging together and keep working hard.
Zorn says Hall was trying to get Landry out of that side. Once Hall got in there their players started pulling on him. Zorn went out there to make sure players didn't go in there. He was proud of Hall for keeping his composure. Hall had it together, wasn't using superlatives. Doesn't know if anyone will be suspended.

Looks like we need to hire a new trainer along with everybody else. This team is battered, and the hamstring problems have been going on for years.

Zorn was excited that they responded. But he wants/expects it to be from play one. Not after half.
Buges was getting after it pretty good. [halftime]
Very emotional at halftime.
Accomplished some things in the 2nd half. Did Atlanta quit at halftime? No. We just played with urgency.
Orakpo will have a good career. Excellent career. Very smart and listens well.
Ladell rose up and took advantage of the moment. Rock helped out in the run game as well. Hate to see someone get hurt in order for others to shine.

Coaches need to coach harder as well. So the players are better prepared from play one.
That's it.

this team is a wreck.. coaching sucks.. very few players worth keeping at this point.. gut the roster and start playing young players wherever possible

The kicker is, if you heard Jim Zorn talking, you'd think the Redskins had won and were 6-2 instead of 2-6. Very....chipper.

They have already talked about signing Larry Johnson. Talked about it this morning.
Prediction. He'll be signed by tomorrow.

I missed this some how. Zorn talked about moving Laron Landry back to SS, his natural position.

Ya think Jimmy Z? Why does this organization see everything when it comes to personnel weeks after the fans call it out?

we woulda been bad even with no injuries ... but this is getting ridiculous. samuels, thomas, portis, horton, cooley, hunter, blades, betts, brennan, haynesworth on every other play ...

I've thought that maybe some of these injuries are.... exagerrated, maybe? Does anyone else think that they might be sort of packing it in this season? Getting people they know will be back, off the field and letting the backups absorb the beatings? just a thought.
