Snyder starts out by sending his condolences to the Bengals and Marvin Lewis.

Huge props to Snyder for stating that right off the bat.

He's not interested in a good game here or there: He wants 52 weeks of good work ethic.

He says he started talking to Snyder this week but didn't get offered the job until this week.

Joe Gibbs called this morning and said he supported the move.
Edit: Sorry for the back-to-back posts.

He says he's not making any significant changes in the next three weeks and wants to observe how the team is working before the offseason.
Danny says this season has disappointed everyone. You got that right. Says he decided on change for the future.
Talking about the CBA and the cap, Bruce Allen says the situation is a "wonderful opportunity" and says they'll be prepared for either a capped or uncapped year. The "key is the players you have on the team".
Someone just asked Dan how much autonomy Bruce will have. Dan says Bruce will have the authority and that when the club makes a decision its a "Redskins decision".
Says Jim Zorn is the coach. Said the position isn't open as of now. Yeah right.
Someone just asked Dan whether he will be less involved in decisions with the team. He says he wasn't as involved as people thought. He's counting on Bruce to lead the way in the future.
Dan totally just deflected a question about Jim.
Someone just asked Dan about Shanahan and Bruce responded that now isn't the time to speculate about coaches.

Too bad Gibbs didn't make that call in 2005 lol.

If he is anything like his Dad, he will demand total control and get it!

Bruce really knows how to play the part. He had on a burgundy and gold tie. I hope he turns out to be a good GM.

I'm looking Dan Snyder to unoquivically state: "Bruce will make every football decision going forward and I will make zero football decisions." I take it he didn't say that.

Allen will fire Zorn just for saying that.
