Adam Archuleta was never the best option for anything, ever. That was over-the-top self fulfillment by the Danny, nothing more. I really don't recall anyone clamoring for another safety anyway. As I recall, most folks were just fine with what Ryan Clark had been doing.

Shanny does not really impress me. I think he rode TD and Elway to one
championship, and Minnesota pissed the other one away to the Dan Reeves led Falcons else he would have had just the one. JMO

Actually that was Gregg Williams. He went out and signed Arch by himself, even though Arch's agent told him he couldn't work in the skins' defense.

It was also the largest contract given to a personal protector for the punter

Snyder signed the checks, Williams went out and signed Arch despite Arch's agent telling him that he would be a poor fit in DC. Gibbs gave him carte blanche to pick personnel on the defense.

another reason why i think that the Saints defense will continue to collapse at the worst possible time for them-- sucking Williams chances of being a head coach in 2010 right along with then
Williams is not the best judge of talent IMHO

So, by your logic no matter who actually made the decision to sign a player, its Snyder's decision since he signs the checks? I guess then Snyder is to blame for any decision that Shanahan or Allen make in your universe?
Whether you want to deal with it or not, a former Admin-who shall not be named-here was close with Archuleta's agent was told by him that the Archuleta signing was totally on Williams. Williams approached him about signing Arch, Williams made him the contract offer, Williams raised the contract amount after the agent said that it would work out because Arch wouldn't fit in the Skins' defensive scheme. Yes, Dan Snyder signed the check(well, the treasurer of the Skins did), but if that means he's to blame for the move, then nothing can be anyone but Snyder's fault, which is patently ridiculous. By your logic, if Snyder made me the GM, and I signed Britney Spears to play left tackle for 100 million dollars a season, thats on Snyder for signing the check.

Williams is a great DC when he thinks he isn't a great DC. When he thinks he's great, the defense falls apart.

Typical response...You're getting from me what you attempt to dish out to everyone else who disagrees with the comedic analysis you post. Just giving you a taste of your own medicine.

Except I don't make up something trolling for a fight like you are here, I just like to discuss the issue to get to the facts. And you're lying about this since you started your comments on this subject responding to someone else and not me. If you don't like what I post, feel free to ignore list me anytime you want to.
