Thumbs up Favorite Band or Musical Group ???

So besides the Redskins Band, who's y'alls favorite band or a favorite group you like to see live in concert?

Curious to know who y'all like?

(Sorry if we have ever discussed this before)

Right now I'd probably have to go with either Foo Fighters, Our Lady Peace, or Something Corporate. On the rap side of things I'd say Ludacris or Sean Paul.

Thats a tough one Tex, I can listen to just about anything except the hard-core stuff with excessive foul language. That stuff gets old real fast.

Damn, haven't been to a live concert in awhile. The last person I saw was Vic Wooten and a friend of mine from school with some other folks on stage. They give a nice show. Vic and several of his brothers were also members of the Brand New Heavies as well.

Earth, Wind and Fire also puts on a good stage show. Damn, the last time I went to a rap show, I believe Run DMC was still out.

My last concert...Goo Goo Dolls (Hubbo knows Robby), they had Third Eye Blind and Michelle Branch with them.

I like every kind of music except rap, I'm far too old to get it!

I also like a lot of Christian bands, some of the best bands you'll never hear!

My answer to that question is in two parts and both parts are local St. Paul/Mpls acts that none of you have probably ever heard of, so I'll provide links if you want to check them out.

For Hard Rock with a political edge it's H block 10:

and for straight-up Country music it's Darrin Rosha:

That's a hard one.

It was Metalica, but I don't like the new stuff(still like the old stuff).

Pink Floyd....The best live show I ever saw. I have been to around 300 concerts in my day, so I have a lot to compare to.
It was 1994 at RFK. I had 5th row seats. AWESOME, baby.

I am not much into going to concerts anymore. Maybe because I am an ol' fart now.

My list of favorite concerts (in random order)............

Ted Nugent (4 times)
Iron Maiden
Pink Floyd (2 times)
Lynyrd Skynyrd (2 times, before and after the plane crash)
Metalica
Judas Priest (3 times)
AC/DC (2 times with and without Bon Scott)
The Who
Outlaws/Molly Hatchet/Blackfoot
Blue Oyster Cult (2 times)
Black Sabbath (2 times, with and without Ozzy)
Robin Trower
Little Feat

One band I never got to see live was Led Zepplen. I know it would have been on my favorites list.

we have similar tastes in music skinsfan44.
But my all time favorite is Pearl Jam.

I do like a lot of country and classical as well. About the only thing I reall don't care to listen to is hip hop / rap. Rap because a lot (in my opinion) don't have any musical talent. But some are pretty good and can put on a great show.

I guess the last concert I have been to is LIVE (throwing copper tour) back in the mid to late 90's.
Oh wait...I saw KISS at the fleetcenter a few years back. Other than that my concert days havebeen LONG over.

Both of you HAVE to see School of Rock if those are the bands you like.
