Rooting for Saints - and Brunell
It would be easier to root for New Orleans against the Jets, because I really like how Peyton Manning plays, but I think New Orleans deserves a Super Bowl win, as do Drew Brees and... Mark Brunell.
He had some ugly games here, but also some great moments including the 14-13 win over the Cowboys which is still one of my favorite games of all time. He also had a great career, though most of it *before* joining the 'Skins.
Good luck getting that ring Mark, and stay classy... ;-)

I'm going with the Aints...although I halfway expect the Colts to win, I'd like to see the undersized Brees, Mark Brunell, Gdub's D, and the city of Nawlins' get them a Lombardi trophy.

Very possible. Like many of these playoff game should be plenty of thrills and entertainment which is one of the most important things. No one likes a boring game- especially a boring, big game.

I am not looking forward to this SB at all. I can't stand the Colts and I don't think the Saints have much of a chance at all. Oh well, at least the Cowboys were eliminated.

I'll root for the Saints. Truth be told, I want a driving thundershower to hit Miami during the SB so these dome & turf teams get a taste of it.

The outcome of this game depends on whether or not the Saints' luck will run out or not. They have gotten a LOT of breaks this season and last night in particular.

I am actually looking forward to this game but of course I am since it's the super bowl. Seriously should be fun- lots of offense. I'll be happy whoever wins but would prefer for the Saints. Wanna see Brees get a ring and all those fans in New Orleans. They really deserve it after enduring Katrina and other tragedies.

I'll be pulling for the Saints, but it has NOTHING to do with Brunell.
The city of NO deserve a SB win. I won't be upset to see the Colts win it, but I'm really pulling for the Saints.

This is what POTUS said (basically) on the ABC News tonight. He considers the Saints the sentimental favorite so he's rooting for them.

I'm pulling for the Saints and their undersized Texan at quarterback to pull off one more win. The guy that the University of Texas didn't want (More specifically thanks John Mackovic for screwing that one up for UT.) coming out of Westlake HS in Austin as well as the guy that San Diego let go of now has the biggest opportunity of his professional life right in front of him. I hope he takes full advantage of it.
I'll also be pulling for Gregg Williams and Mark Brunell. Williams is a pretty good guy in my book and it'd be cool to see him and his defense make a big play to win the game. Brunell has had a long career and while he didn't lead us to a Super Bowl, or anything close to it, I'm glad he'll have a chance to get a ring with the Saints.

I'm just hoping for an entertaining game (while I kick back and watch the game from a nice bar in Grand Cayman )..... really don't have favorite. Both teams had a heck of a season and deserve to be there. Good luck to both of them and give us a game for the ages.

Both teams have positives that make you want them to win. The Saints have the biggest negative IMO in stupid Jeremy Shockey. I hate that guy. No one is a bigger Dbag... That said I hope the Saints win but if they lose I hope it is because Shockey fumbles or misses a block or something.

We're fortunate to be watching a QB at the height of his skills during what has been a sublimely brilliant season in Manning. It's fun to see a guy who is that good, especially considering the difficulty of his position and the fact that he essentially runs that offense. He's an all-time QB and a win here would eliminate any real criticisms of what has been a tremendous career.
I can't say that I'd be unhappy to see Indy win, but I'm probably pulling for New Orleans a little more. The good karma that the city deserves, combined with the fact that my brother was born there and that NO is one of my favorite American cities and I can't help but lean that way.
Either way, it's set up to be a really entertaining matchup.
