Good luck to both of you! That's an amazing story. You are a lucky man to have someone so generous in your family. Kudos for sporting the Skins shirt too.

Lol, took him to Texas Roadhouse and he ordered a full slab of ribs!! He said they were as good as Tony Roma's he'd had in Fla. a few years back. We're gonna "try" to fly his wife over this next trip for the procedure, IF we can afford to. She's a sweetheart for supporting the both of us through this thing, and yes, you're all correct...he's a fantastic person, a very heroic deed in my book.

Well, I hate doing this, but I ain't too proud to accept help at this time! You can contact my wife at tar88@shentel.net (Teresa). She has been doing bake sale fund raisers and we're socking away a little at a time.

And just having everyone's thoughts and prayers is all I could ever ask for. Times like these have proven to me that people, deep down inside, are generous and supporting of others.

Thanks to ALL for your well wishes!! I truly appreciate each and every one!

(I thought about hittin ole Danny boy up to use his private jet to fly my cousin and his wife over this next trip! lol)

Quick update: Uva has just informed my cousin and I that they are making arrangements to schedule the transplant procedure for March 4th!! Finally, the light at the end of the tunnel is glowing brighter and brighter. Just one final crossmatch a week before the surgery, to make sure neither of us has picked up any nasty germs. Cheers to my cousin!!!
