Default Should Jamarcus Russell change positions?

If he really weighs 271 pounds he should....

On the other hand, 271 pounds has to be considered progress considering that two years ago, Don Banks of SI.com wrote that there were rumors that Russell was weighing in at close to 300 pounds.
WOW. He makes the hefty lefty look like a light weight.

he should not switch positions,he needs to just retire cause he obviously does'nt take the game serious enough to play it anymore.

Perhaps he recognized that he needed to maximize that first pay day.

at this point,i don't think that the guy understands that if he goes out on that field really out of shape, somebody is gonna hit him so hard his bell will never stop ringing in this lifetime!al davis said he's gonna start regardless of who the coach is.

Not making any excuses for him, but how much of this is atmoshpere?

I think just because a team pours alot of resources into a player doesn't mean he'll be successful. Esp if the resources are crappy as well. Remember the raiders are picking after us.

I think it takes the right matchup. And I question to date if the raiders and our org (until I see differently), are good matches for certain players.

Yes alot of this is on the player, but why is it that London Fletcher hasn't been invited to the probowl as of late, because he's on a crappy team.

i know i'm old enough to be this kid's daddy, but somebody needs to make him understand what a chance he seems to be piss away here,in my view.after he finishes playing,he may never have to work again, however he should throw his opportunity to make millions because he's lazy.let him work 6 days a week,12 hours a day in the factory and see how he likes that!

He'll most likely go down as the biggest bust in NFL history.
