Default Redskins Have Met With Terrence Cody

Per KFFL:

http://www.kffl.com/gnews.php?id=638880

Bottom half of the second round I'd take him. If we get into the top half of the second round I think there are better players at that position (Torrell Troup, Cam Thomas) but he has a higher ceiling then any NT in the draft.

Isnt he projected to go in the bottom of the 1st in most mocks?

Possibly, but IMO it's too big a risk.

hell of a stop gap player.he's not a 1st rounder and he'll be gone by the time the skins make their 2nd pick.

Haven't the Redskins met with a lot of prospects already? E.g. Bradford, McCoy, Tebow, Berry, Clausen, Williams... I don't think this necessarily means something.

I'm glad someone saw what I saw in Troup. He is projected to go in round 4 and I think he would be a bargain that we talk about for years. I have Okung, Troup, Boris Lee, Zane Beadles, and Thomas Welch from Vandy as my dream draft.

You never know. All the prospects you listed are top 10 prospects but how else do you propose we gauge who else we'll be looking at?

Troup's stock has been quietly rising. Right now I'd be surprised if he makes it past the middle of the 3rd round.

I dont understand picking up NT's when we dont have the Linebackers to play the 3-4.

That's like building a house from the roof down, which is kinda what we've been trying to do for the last 11 years.

Kinda scared off by his work ethic from reports. He is huge and tough to move but he has alot of trouble controlling his weight

Dominated in college, but talent alone won't make iot in the pros. A boom or bust type.
