Quarterback depth
I wanted to create a thread devoted to the depth of our QB depth.
How comfortable are we now with a depth chart of McNabb,Grossman and Brennan?
As we say in the business, Hope is not a strategy. And hoping McNabb will last 16 years....errr, oops, games(laughs)....given his previous years and his age and the state of our Oline to protect him, are we comfortable with Grossman behind center?
Discuss.

I'll be surprised if we don't cut Brennan and add a vet. I thought for sure we'd cut him and get a project QB like Pike but I guess this group of QB's were weak. We'll see...

Basically, if McNabb goes down, we are screwed.
That's not a pretty picture...

If Shanahan gets the line where he wants it we'll at least have a running game. Also, unlike in philly, Mcnabb won't be dropping back 50 times a game risking injury so again his health and our success lies in the running game IMO

Well shannahan stated that he would likely sign a undrafted FA QB. My hopes are for Jarret Brown.

I could care less about the third string QB. Grossman is our number two and he has already spent a year in the system. He will hold his own as a backup. Next year, we can look at a more talented crop of QB's coming out of college.

do we still have richard bartel too?
anyways, isnt shanny known to typically only keep 2 QBs? i could wrong though. Colt Brennan or someone else would really have to impress him to keep a 3rd QB if he typically only keeps 2

exactly.. the big winner today ? brennan... by not drafting a qb it says a lot about Cults chances of making the team

We don't need another vet, we need someone young.

If MaNabb goes down, I think the Skins go from 6-10 to 3-13. It will give them a shot at the #1 pick in 2011.

So are you saying that we will only win 6 games if Mcnabb stays healthy?

That is how I feel only replace "if" with "when"
