When a kid asks him for an autograph, he runs a 4.2 in the opposite direction.

I think Galloway has had a lot more injuries than DG did; and those injuries have robbed him of his speed. He struggled to get seperation last year and without his speed he brings little to the table other than being a mentor to guys in camp.

Is that true? DG wouldn't give a kid an autograph?

There is a limit on how many players a team can bring to TC. Is it 75? 80?. I doubt some of these free agents signings will even get to TC. It is sure hard to get excited about these signings.

but daniels is still a good tackler and motivator.i can't understand why anybody would sign joey galloway to a contract as a player, now if they hired him to mentor and coach the wrs,i could see that.maybe shanny is giving him a chance like he did jerry rice
right before he retired.

There are a couple of stories out there on how Darrell Green didn't give a kid an autograph. I don't know if they are from the same person or from two different people. I don't know if this is a pattern with Darrell or if Darrell was just having a bad day. I'm not sure if they are verifiable stories or just someone with an agenda. I'm not singling anyone out or trying to make waves. I just don't know the story except there are a couple of stories out there.

All I know is that Darrell Green was my favorite player for 20 years when he was out there.

This signing is probably nothing more than to create more competition at the WR spot. Something we haven't had around here in a long time.

As far as DG let's not put things out there like that, we've all had days that when pointed out of perspective makes us look like the bad guy. DG has a youth life foundation for crying out loud.

What is it with the old receivers? Must be Keenan McCardell.
I hope Galloway has genes like ol' #28.

This is all about competition so that the young receivers, namely Thomas, Kelly, and Mitchell work their butts off. Needless to say, the Redskins are depending on their stepping up this season.

Marko Mitchell will shine this yr. I think he's a Shanny type guy anyway. He's tall, and a late pick. Maybe he's going to be our surprise weapon and they are going to keep it on the hush....
