Angry Coaching

Maybe I missed it , but did we even BLITZ once that game, or try to put any real pressure on Brad? And how the H@#% do you get beat 3 times for touchdowns BY THE SAME BASIC PLAY??!!!!

The players are out there trying to execute the plays the coaches are calling. This is absolutely a defensive coaching loss.

First off, welcome to hailRedskins.com. We are glad you decided to join us and hope you speak you mind often.

I am probably not best to answer your questions, many know here, I have never been and never will be a Steve Spurrier fan.

As far as my observations, I agree with you sight of pass pressure. Seem like from the first to the foruth quarter, if and when BJ did throw he had all day. There was no pressure like there was against Philly last week.

As far as player executing plays, I agree, but IMHO, and MYHO only, i don't think the players have much faith in this system, nor do I. I have heard comments and quotes that lead me to believe this.

I'm not giving up on this system yet. Spurrier adjusted nicely after halftime the past few games, but today...???

Can't afford to gamble and take chances without Smoot in the game. Bauman on Keyshawn or McCardell are mismatches either way.

One blitz stands out in my mind yesterday. It turned in to a TD pass to Keyshawn. Our front four on defense is very light in the arse and it's showing. They don't have the speed either to rush the passer. We need to start confusing the opposing offense with stunts. I do think, and I try not to be harsh, we have the wrost blitzing defense in the league right now.

This weeks L is to be placed entirely on the defense. There is no excuse for giving up 28 pts to that offense. The bucs will win 95% of the games in which they score more than 28. Our only chance this week was to win with 17pts. Meaning to hold Tampa to less than 17. The defense was horrible. The offense almost did enough against one of the best d's ever. nobody should have expected the offense to light it up, or for tampa to have 0 sacks or pressure.

I told you guy's last week we weren't going to get any pressure on BJ. The colts have a better line and defensive coach and they could barely get to him. At what point in this season did we think we could get any pressure especially against the bucs?

Our front four stinks!! They play Bruce Smith WAY TOOO F'N MUCH!!!!!!!!!! WTF! I don't get this at all! Get him 15 snaps a game tops period. To have a 40 yr old man as a full-time pass rusher is beyond me. Edwards needs to grow a sack on put him on the bench.

Get Upshaw and Zellner in their for crying out loud.

The Redskins did blitz quite a bit yesterday and got burned everytime. As for Bruce Smith, he doesn't need to be a every down player and I wish they would get Jackson in there to see what he can do. Get Upshaw and Zellner more playing time.
