Hmmm... Different size cups are used at FedEx too, with different pricing but different size cups are also used with import and domestics, again with different pricing. I only buy good beer and when the difference between a Bud or a Lite and a Guinness or a Stella is only a buck, it's a no-brainer regardless of the difference of ounces, if there is a difference.
I think though the cups appear different but aren't, yet are priced differently, is because of what beer you get in them, in the case of this video. The maker of this video should have stated whether it was the same beer or not.

Did you happen to click on the click? The stadium vendor has acknowledged the screw-up.

No... until now. Aw well, I was trying to believe the fans in Seattle weren't being scammed. Can't say I feel sorry for them, though. They like paying a premium for watered down beer and weak coffee, I guess.

They actually weren't scammed. The 20oz purchasers got what they paid for. the 16oz purchasers got 20oz of beer. Qwest didn't realize it, and to make good, sold 20oz beers for the 16oz price the next game. That seems reasonable.
Price is still ridiculous, but the packaging mistake actually cost them plenty of money.

That doesn't make sense. If purchasers got 20 oz. of beer when they purchased a 16 oz., why would management feel they had to make amends?

This is the first time we have been alerted to this fact. Upon our internal investigation this afternoon, we discovered the cups that are marked 16 oz. hold 20 oz. of liquid. Fans who purchased a 16 oz. beer actually received 20 oz. of beer for the 16 oz. price. Fans that purchased the 20 oz. beer received the amount they purchased. We are working with Levy Restaurants to follow up with the cup vendor about the measurement and to determine how long this has been occurring at Qwest Field. We are determined to find a solution as quickly as possible. In the meantime, we will serve domestic beer in the 20 oz. cup at tomorrow's playoff game to ensure all fans receive the amount they purchase, and we will charge the 16 oz. price.
