I'm guessing there is a story behind this - Adam Schefter said that 15 minutes after the story broke some Titans assistants still had no idea he'd been fired.

I'll speculate. Fisher and the org fought over whether or not to draft Cam Newton. Fisher lost the argument.

yeah this doesnt make any sense fisher was kept. he fired cecil,and then washburn walked now hes gone. i hope bud adams picks childress so we can get their second for donovan lol
