Nope, despise the sport, but I thought United got their own stadium?

The difficulty of selling tickets depends on location.

I own season tickets in three different locations (Club, LL sideline, and 200-level). I've owned tickets at almost every location (including upper deck, endzone, and obstructed).

For watching the game, my favorite seats are in in the 200 level (unobstructed). When I need to sell, these are the tickets most difficult to sell.

My least favorite seats are LL sideline. At times one must stand the entire game. People are standing in front of you. My wife can't see at all. These are the seats that are the easiest to sell.

We love the extras that come with the club seats. Over the past year or so, I've had 3 tours of Redskins park, met Mike Shanahan twice, Bruce Allen once, Danny Smith once, draft day party, Christmas party, and free tickets to soccer, concerts, and college football games. Even got to hold the USA flag at half-time at the Army-Navy game. At Redskins practices, have our own location to watch the practice. Most special events have free food and alcohol. It's also nice having a temperature controlled concourse with seats and tables. It's also nice having slightly larger seats with more leg room. The only negative is the ticket price.

The reselling price of club seats is less than my LL seats.

In my opinion, the Redskins need to significantly increase the price of LL sideline seats. From $99/$109 to $139/$149. There's a lot of people who inherited tickets who rarely go to games and just resale tickets. Meanwhile, many true fans are stuck in the upper deck waiting for an opportunity to get to the lower deck. With raised prices, it may not be worth it for owners of LL sideline tickets to continue to hold on and resell all their tickets. The 200-level sideline unobstructed seats should stay at $99 and the endzone (goal line and back) should stay at $99/$79.

Clearly the Redskins are lying about the upper Party deck. Nothing's been constructed over the past two seasons. They just ripped out seats. I believe that prices for all seats in the upper deck should have been reduced. The $79 UL sideline seats should be $59. The seats they ripped out should have been lowered to $19. This would have made affordable for a lot more people to attend the game. And $19 is better than getting zero.

And lowered UL prices may adversely impact the resell price LL sideline tickets. If one can buy a UL 30 yard line ticket for around $60, they may not be as willing to buy a LL sideline ticket for over $180 or more.

Club seats should start at $149 for the endzone.

You are undoubtedly right about the prices for the various type seats.

My hunch is that if the team starts to win/contend again, the stadium will actually be sold out once again and Redskins tickets will become a hot item again. As they say, winning cures everything. But, that will probably also mean Snyder will raise ticket prices--he has been waiting a long time for a chance to do so.

Raising LL seats won't solve anything. There are plenty of "real" fans who own seats down there.

It's my opinion that if you are in the Lower Level, you should expect to stand all game. Telling people to sit down is absurd to me. In Club? Okay, nobody needs to stand, but in the lower bowl you should expect to stand and be loud (or stfu when they are on offense). That's your job as 12th man.

Lower Level is too much fun. When I lived in DC, I briefly had 2 tickets in section 213, in the corner of the endzone. I managed to rally several people in our section to yell "snap counts" when our opponents were backed up in our endzone. In stead of random noise, we all were yelling "HUT HUT HUT" at the top of our lungs. Whenever there was a false start, we of course took all of the credit. Good times.

I remember the Skins' home opener against the Bears in '05 when they false-started three times on the bounce deep in the 4th quarter. It took the Bears out of FG range and the Skins ended up winning 9-7. I personally take credit for those false starts even though I was at the top of 441...

I remember that! I was screaming after the first one "That was us! That was US!" The place went bananas after the 2nd one.

I was there as well. One of those rare times in which the fans in attendance can honestly say they affected gameplay.

Was that game during one of our HR tailgates?

Green lot passes are available? Say what?

Oh and those standing zones look horrible but are really cheap. I expect some epic fights up there from the college kids who are likely to buy them.
