I wonder where in the world you got the notion that Totti is somehow a leading representative of the divers and floppers of Serie A. He has never been accused of being particularly keen to diving, even by his worst critics (or Lazio fans). I can think of other Roma players, for instance, who used to drive me mad for how much they flopped, like Taddei and Delvecchio for instance.
And to prove I'm not just defending Totti because he plays for us, I don't particularly agree with the first sentence either. Inzaghi and Ravanelli were excellend divers, but in general Juve ussed to steal games by recurring to different tactcs, like having other team's players disqualified before the match or not having penalty kicks given to the other team (Juve was rarely among the leading penalty kickers), or doping. lol
In general though your last sentence is right IMO. Pretty much everybody flops.

Which was my point. Its like when Harry Potter and the Madrid fans complain about Barca diving. Did they forget that Di Maria and Cr7 play for RM?

The incident that got Scholes sent off in the CL knockout in 2007 will not soon be forgotten!
You did have Batistuta who never took a dive because nobody could get him off his feet.

It's not so much the diving (Don Revie's Leeds United and Frannie Lee were conning refs back in the early 70s), what we really find unacceptable in the UK is when players start waving imaginary cards at the referee. To be fair - in Akh's defence, I've never known a Duvet player do this.
That said, I've known them wave the odd banknote though...

I don't believe the rumors, but not because Arry said anything about it. That probably makes me believe the opposite. But it hasn't been Levy's m.o. I think we'll hear about the replacement before I'd believe it.

Stunning strike from the Polish captain last night to get the draw. Boy did the Poles want that game last night. Throws that group wide open for the last group games.

Is it me or have some of the best games been coming from that group?
I really hope Portugal progress btw. That midfield trio of Moutinho, Meireles and Veloso didn't get enough credit for the great job they did against Germany and of all things it was the attack that really let them down. No idea why he's sticking with Postiga today and not giving Oliveira a chance.

I'm guessing that goal is why he's sticking with Postiga.

Amauri and Iaqinta banged one in once in a while and they're Van Basten in his prime compared to Postiga. I think of the two Oliveira is a little less useless. In other news Ronaldo should buy Varela a chateau and a couple of Ferrari's.

The Danish fans chanting "messi! messi!" was all sorts of awesome.

Jinkies. The Germans carving holes in the Dutch defence like a big hole-carving thingy...
Won't be like that when Woy and the boys ambush 'em in the last four...
