if he leads austin there its a first down, has to work on his touch.
as far as the timeouts i exect that in the frst couple of games....if it is ahappening in the realseason kmd i will get worried

last two drives should have been tds.that's ok in preseason,but they need to be tds in regular season.

Stats after this drive... 13-0 Redskins
Beck: 8 for 10, 76 yards, 7 yard scramble.
Helu: 6 for 60, 51 yard long
Still poor Red-Zone play calling.

wanna see better play calling and alittle bit better ball placement. Both did well relatively speaking but its preseason and they aren't scoring tds in the redzone. |

I think Austin wasn't expecting the ball. He looked surprised which caused him to fall. I rewound it to watch again and that's the impression that I got. Not sure what caused the "What a good throw!" comment by the announcer, since it was for a 2 yard gain, but Austin could've kept his feet and gotten the first if he was ready for it.
That's how it looked to me, anyhow.

I'm very impressed with the Westbrook. He seems to be really developing as an DB and thats cool to see someone who stuck with the squad for so long finally putting it together.
