Default Week 3 score prediction Thread

Skins 23
Turds 16

Skins jump out early then have a mediocre second half. Romo leaves on a stretcher.

There will be less than 30 total points.

This is a really tough one to call.. a lot has to do with who plays and who doesnt

If the Pukes are missing, Romo/Austin/Jones their offense will tend to gring to a halt.. still, they are dangerous because of their front 7 on defense

Rex has proved he can move the ball against this team, but still LOST to them last year

I think this may end up being a sloppier game and we might see a few more turnovers by both teams-- especially if the O line has trouble containing Ware

Also, i think we have been both lucky and good as a team and am not quite sure we are ready to win on the road.. i think it will come down to a 3 point game 20-17 but not quite ready to say WHICH team will win.. later this week

Redskins 27
Dallas 24

Close game. Romo starts but doesn't finish. FG in final seconds for the win!

Like the fellas in Vegas I don't think I can predict a score until I know if Romo is playing. I'm waiting until the weekend.

I will say that if the Cowboys had been at 100 percent there is a good chance the Skins would have gotten waxed.

I can't say that I agree with this statement! I don't think that you will see us get waxed by many (if any) teams this year. Our defense has too much heart and desire to be great! There will be big plays against us, but we will not get waxed!

I predict the score will be....

Redskins- 35

Dallas- 17

I am going to get waxed for this prediction. If Romo is playing.

Cowboys 31

Skins 13

I think this is wake up call week. The poor run defense and the mediocre OL play get exposed this week.

If Kitna starts I think the score will be:

Cowboys 24

Redskins 16

More offensive opportunities net the skins another fg.

Just like with Arizona, the team with the positive giveaway/takeaway ratio is going to win..

We cannot win if we are minus on the road

I'm thinking we're going to win the turnover battle. Especially if they are stupid enough to play Romo. I see some ill-advised throws under pressure or sack/fumbles.

If Kitna starts, the turnover ratio will be more evenly matched, but Kitna is less mobile, and will take fewer risks. I woulsd love to see Neild rack up 2 more sacks as Kitna moves up in the pocket to evade the RAK/Kerrigan sandwich.

We'll never know in this case since the Cowboys are banged-up. Hopefully I'm just full of it (wouldn't be the first time, lol).

But I'll tell you my though process: I'm worried Rex will have a tough time with turnovers Monday night. Given the pass rush he'll face and the way the O-Line has looked it'll be a success if he only turns it over once. Combine that with how much trouble the combination of Romo, Austin and Witten would give our LBs/DBs and the difficulty we've had during national games and it looked like a recipe for disaster.

And I do agree with you about the defense. I like what I've been seeing, particularly since they've had to do it with a liability at SS.
