Great write-up. I enjoyed it immensely. Also, I like your prediction for the score on Monday.
Then there's this quote:

No one would confuse our receivers with the best groups of receivers in the NFL, but guys are open all the time.

Well-played. You are one drole old SOB, Shally.

thanks for the kindness guys.. i will try to be more prompt with the column next week..
Dallas is really hurting physically.. we need to get on them early and take the fans out of the game..

For true.. but we could also very easily lose this game.. Definitely a character builder, and a character revealer

The special teams looks solid. Even Gano has let me exhale a little. Rocca is the most professional punter we have had in a long time.
Sundberg looks to have justified Shanahan’s faith, and he even went down on punt coverage after losing his helmet.. Shades of Lo Alexander..Speaking of which, guys like Lo and Sellers and Golston and Jackson have accepted a more limited role gracefully and bought into the “me last” system.. Really nice to see that.
|
and people doubted me when i suggested shanny wanted someone more young and athletic at LS who can also go down and cover a punt after the snap as a possible reason to not bring albright back, and this was before we knew about albrights back injury...

Good write up, I agree with most everything but unfortunately I think we get beat this Monday. This game has that let down feel, that I have been accustomed to getting these last 20 years.

New year. New attitude. Hopefully different result than yrs past. Actually worry more about Rams if we win

Let me join the chorus and say, "good write up." I think the Skins will be up for this game and I worry about the Rams too. I expect Washington to beat the Cowboys and with a bye week in sight, suffer a let down in St. Louis.

nice write up shally, good to be on the sunny side of the street occasionally.
On monday, our offensive line is going to be really put to the test for the first time this season and I hope rex can hold onto to the ball.

Without question turnovers will be a key. On the road a team seldom wins if negative. O line has to control ware and ratliff

Good write up Shally. I wasn't aware we were the least penalized team in the league. That's impressive considering where we came from, just cutting Stephon Heyer probably shoot us 15 spaces up lol.
Its no secret Rabach was an open door, especially against nose tackles. I will be watching how the middle of the line performs but expecting Ware to get 2-3 sacks. I really hope Shanny gameplans Ware throughout. I can't stand when he gets a sack, well I can't stand the media coverage anytime the cowboys make any big play for that matter.
It appears the cowboys will have to play shorthanded but they are still very dangerous. I'm sure Romo will be pumped up full of drugs to get him through the game, and he is a squirrel-monkey to sack and somehow makes back breaking plays when pressure in is in his face. Can't stand it when he does.
If Landry is back in the lineup it will be exciting to see how the secondary performs with 2 legit safety's not to mention a reduction in the number of posts dissecting every Reed Doughty camera shot. Basically if he's in the frame we'll know about it, even if the offense is on the field lol.
