I'd actually just prefer Rex is gone if we draft a qb 1st to me Kyle is too much of a Rex guy to trust that he won't be in the ear of the coach saying the rook ain't ready yet.

I just see Rex killing us anytime things get tight late. Aside from not getting rid of the ball on the last play, before that he threw at least 2 terrible balls that should have been picked even when he wasnt under pressure. Did the same thing against the Giants once they took the lead but got lucky there. He clearly can't throw a deep ball and that will kill us all year long.

I know we gave up the 3rd and 21 play but the D looked pretty good until late in the 4th. They definitely seemed winded... more of a reason to establish an effective run game to give the D a breather once in a while.

Yeah, but at least the rookie can throw the ball 40 yards! He doesn't fumble 1 out of every 3 sacks. LOL. Kyle to Rex next year, "Shutup and hold that clipboard. And stop drooling all over me. The kid's got game!"
