I don't mind if the feathers he ruffled got ruffled. He's not talking about the vast majority of fans.

Im sure if he was supporting firing at least member of the Shanahan family, you'd be calling for the skins to cut him today lol.

Absolutely. After all, I am Kyle Shanahan's biggest fan.

To be fair, he's talking about people who call in to sports talk radio to vent their frustrations. I personally don't call in to express my opinions, but I certainly listen to those shows every day. I consider myself very invested in the team, and I think I have a higher football IQ than say, the people who casually follow the team on Sundays and don't take things beyond that. Those peoples' opinions matter less to me than those who actively read about/talk about/listen to/call in about the team. Of course there are lunatics who call in and don't know what they're talking about, but someone calling in and saying that Kyle needs to get the boot because of his seeming inability to run the offense effectively... that's not crazy. Yet, that's who Cooley is calling out. You are correct in saying that he's not calling out the vast majority of fans, but he is calling out the fans who are probably have a more informed opinion of how things are really going. I personally find it a bit demeaning.

I see. "From your lips . . ." is used to indicate you want what is written to come true. Figured that was your wishful thinking finally coming through.

It's not crazy, but it's a little on the knee-jerk side. And I don't think it's primarily Kyle he's talking about. Firing a coordinator is one thing, but anybody who wants to fire Mike Shanahan without even waiting for the eighth game of his second season is a little on the cuckoo side.

I didn't mean it in that context. I already know that you're Kyle's #1 fan lol. And frankly: so does God.

Actually it's impossible for me to be Kyle's No. 1 fan. If you check his ankle you'll see the top-4 spots are already taken.

Rex let the cat out of the bag on his blog when discussing what distracts him from Kyle's penis piercing.
