I don't think Sanchez would have fans elated. I'm with Shally. The first name to come to mind is Peyton Manning. Personally, I would not be elated. I think he's done because of his neck. The only other guess I would make is RG III, but that seems too good to be true. Luck is a pipe dream. That's why I won't consider him.

I'm in agreement with Shally. I think that the Redskins may go after PEYTON MANNING. He's the only guy that they can say, "we've made a deal that the fans will love". Nobody knows about Flynn except on this website.
I agree that if the Redskins and Rams want to make this deal for Bradford it's sort of possible but there's a lot of big problems (like the Rams $20 mill cap hit next year). Why would the Rams give up on Bradford after two seasons? It's not his fault they have no OL. Maybe they think RGIII will be better....
I just don't think that there's any way we made a deal with the Rams for the #2 pick this early. If RGIII craps out on the combine, the Redskins would be locked in. If RGIII has a great combine then the Rams could get more. Unless we made them an offer they couldn't refuse already. We've overpaid for players since Snyder got here....
I go back to the P.Manning idea. He's a 2-3 year boost to the offense and allows the offense to improve via the draft and FA. Considering that Shanahan/Allen have tried and failed miserably with McKnabb and Rex, plus no one knows how much juice is left in Peytons tank. One hit and his neck is done. By picking Manning Shanahan is saying the team needs two more years of drafting and trades and FA to be competitive. Finally, why would Manning want to come to this team? To show he can take this pile of poo and make us 8-8?

IF Peyton can still play (and that has NOT been determined) he is smart enough to know that playing for Washington is not one of his best option. I'm sure he'll evaluate every potential team he'd considers Offensive Line. Skins OL would definitely be a determent to his health.

I didn't think our O line was that bad, it gave Grossman plenty of time to find a LB.

Lol! It drove me nuts when he'd check down from the deep safety to the middle linebacker.

I prefer a good timing pass to the CB and letting them make a play.

They must think all fans are idiots.

So basically we just made an announcment that we're guilty of tampering. (If it is indeed Peyton Manning)

Cards have also been reported as being very interested in Manning

It implies the player is already theirs or draft-able. Anyone like Manning or Flynn are out.
