Form the Super Skins Now
Its possible. Its feasible. Its economical. We can put together a 2006 dream team now.
With Romo's Cowboys, Vick's Eagles, and Eli's Giants, the Redskins aren't just in the NFC East basement, we are completely irrelevant. Less fans are showing up for practices and games. Espn shows our game highlights somewhere between X-games pre-trials and professional bowling.
Well the football gods have opened a window of opportunity and we certainly can't turn it down. If Snyder is listening, tap into your inner meddler past and make this your 2012 starting line up.
QB Peyton Manning
WR1 = Randy Moss
WR 2 = Terrell Owens
WR 3 = Chad Ochocinco
WOW WOW WOW. Can you believe we can make this line up possible this offseason. We will have teams shivering to play us. We will strike fear with our veteran moxy. And even if we don't win, we will be a must see show of Divas and past Glory. Plus Chad, Peyton, and Terrell have TV experience so maybe we can get a good reality show out of it.
This must happen. This should happen. It would be like an allstar team from 2006. Who cares about wins anyway. We will be a fantasy dream from yesteryear. Our locker room will be as explosive as any in the history of sport.
THE ABOVE IS FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY. The draft is a million years away and Wizard basketball just ain't cutting it.

Why don't we sign Clinton Portis, Larry Johnson, and Brian Westbrook for the backfield while we're at it

You guys are complete fools. We already know that we have the QB of the future on this team in Rex Grossman. We just need to get the right pieces around him. That's why we're going to forgo drafting any QBs this draft and we're going to focus on some of the skill positions.
We like what we've seen out of Hankerson when we actually let him play and before the Redskins curse took him down, and Paul is pretty good on special teams. We also like what we've seen out of Austin in weeks 16 and 17 when we're down by 30 points. Those guys are definitely up-and-comers, and in about 4 years, we think they might see some real playing time.
Here's our plan for this offseason as far as some of these skill position players we were talking about:
Step 1: We've also got our eyes on some top WRs. People seem to like Blackmon and Alshon Jeffrey, so if either is at 6 and we can't trade down, we'll pick one of them, so don't worry about that.
Step 2: We really like Moss, Gaffney, Stallworth, and David Anderson (did you see that catch in week 16?!?!?!), so we're going to give them contract extensions right off the bat... nothing too crazy... we're talking like 4 years at $20 mil. They'll be key in grooming Blackmon/Jeffrey, and the younger guys from last year over the next 3 or 4 years. We'll also bring in Antonio Bryant and look at some of the guys from Houston like Jacoby Jones... I mean... did you see what David Anderson was capable of??? You can never have enough vets.
Step 3: Wait for New England to cut Kevin Faulk and wait for Thomas Jones to get cut from KC. Give each of them the modest 4 years, $20 million deal. Helu was a great change of pace back and Royster was great between the tackles. The veterans will help bridge the gap to them being potential starters in 3 to 4 years.
Step 4: There are some guys who are in front of Rex that are supposed to protect him or something... I forget what they're called. But rest assured, we're going to do whatever gives us the best chance to win with those guys.
Step 5: Give Rex a 5 year, $60 million contract. Like I said earlier, Rex just needs better pieces around him for him not to throw 5 picks and lose 2 fumbles a game.
Step 6: Deafinz? Dee-fenz? What's that?
Step 7: Cut John Beck. Everyone knows last season's failure is totally Beck's fault. And to think... I jumped up and down on the table for this guy.
So as you can see, we have a plan in place that's going to give us the best chance to win.

Reanimate Mr. J.K.Cook and put Snyder in the hole. Also like the thought of Pat Fisher and Dave Butz comming back.

I've already posted multiple burgundy colored crack pipe dreams in various threads.
We have the sign Peyton/Wayne/Bowe free agency and trade down wrinkle or the RG3 + I hope our 3rd rounder is good wrinkle.
The first Manning scenario goes like this.
Trade down with Cinci and trade Orakpo to the Titans to get the Alabama defense (Upshaw, Kirkpatrick, Barron, and Hightower). Trade a third and fourth rounder to the Ravens for Shaun Cody just to top it off. Redskins win 3 consecutive superbowls until Manning retires.
The second.
Trade down and take David DeCastro, Mike Adams, and Kevin Zeitler with the first 3 picks. Then take Kirk Cousins in the 3rd round to learn behind Manning. Both 4th rounders will become secondary superstars somehow, whoever they are... Redskins win 4 superbowls over a span of 10 years.
The third involves Peyton still but has the Skins using the rest of the free agency money on defense instead of offense. The Skins take Blackmon/Jeffrey at 6 and draft Kevin Zeitler in the 2nd. The Redskins win 2 superbowls in the next two years.
If the Redskins trade everything and draft RG3. The Redskins win 10 superbowls in the next 10 years!

How can anyone talk about forming the Super Skins team without mentioning Fat Assbert? He is available, now. I can see it now. He lays on the ground and Romo QB trips over him. Before the next play begins, Jason Garrett ices his own kicker.

As many prime time games as the redskins get per season, I wouldn't say fans aren't going to the games nor are they not watching. That's coming from a Bengals fan...
