This will leave more space for Gruden's spectacular insight such as "you gotta love that guy" and "he's a FOOTBALL player right there". Jaws is better suited for a studio role anyways since his analysis takes more time but I will miss him.

I love Jaws in the studio where he had time to really get into a few ideas and expand on them. And as much as I like him in a studio, I don't like him in the broadcast booth. It always seemed he was over-produced and assigned the role of a comic foil, rather than a football mind.

i like jaws,the other too,especially gruden when he tries to pronounce some names like gonzales as Toe-knee-Gone-zalees!just an irritating guy all the way round!

The only way to make Redskins broadcasts any worse is having Tirico do the play by play. He is the worst.

Plus you could always tell there was tension between Gruden and Jaws - which to me was annoying. Somebody had to go.

Gruden says some dumb things, but I still like him for whatever reason. He's fun to listen to.
