Jay Glazer: Skins have deal for #2 pick

Glazer says that the team will swap first-round picks in 2012, with St. Louis taking the No. 6 pick. The Rams also get two future first-round picks and additional selections, one of which is believed to be a second-rounder.

You did but how do you build around a young QB if you don't have 1st round picks in 13 & 14. Also if you give up your second this year as wells in the deal you are severly handicaping the rebuilding process in my opinion. This totally smells of desperation on the redskins part. I think Snyder went nuts when Payton wouldn't visit right away and overpayed to get the deal done now. Wow... I wanted RGIII too but I am not sure at this cost.. I thought this is what it would cost to get luck not RGIII.

still it wont matter either way.. if RGIII turns out to be what we hope, it will be a bargain.. if he isnt worth jack, we are so screwed another first wont make a difference.. it would be like Shuler-redux

For Shanahan to give that up you know there was good reason. I'm anxious to hear the complete deal. I've already gone on record earlier saying I'd give up 3 1sts and 2 2nds to get RGIII but damn I never thought Shanahan would open his tight pockets and live my dream. Wowsers.
