Slightly off topic, but I found interesting. I have a close acquaintance who had the recent pleasure or spending time Daniel Snyder. The acquaintance said Snyder was discussing conversations he had with Jerry Jones. Snyder said Jones was jealous that we were drafting RG3. Moreover, Jones told Snyder he was not looking forward to playing against RG3 over the next 10-12 years. Lastly, the acquaintance said Snyder was a name dropper who was constantly trying to impress others involved in the private discussions. My source said it was strange to see this behavior from a billionaire like Snyder.

Sorry to be vague. I cannot divulge anything that would compromise my source. Nothing Earth shattering here, but it does paint a picture that seems to mirror some things we hear at the fan level.

That sounds about right.

RGIII has already mentioned that he only wanted to play for a team that was dedicated to having him as a starter. The Skins went all in. He will be ther future of this franchise, and we will all be delighted with this decision, barring injury. If he's healthy, the future will be very bright for Redskins nation.

I'm definitely extremely excited to have Robert as the quarterback of the Redskins for the next decade. I just finished watching the Gruden QB camp special and I just got chills listening to him speak! There's just no way he's going to be a bust. He's got everything you need to succeed! Looking back on the trade up will be a joke for us once he finally suits up and shows his worth! Hail baby!!!

I think he can already see/feel the love that this area is giving him. He just did a signing in the area. He knows he wants to come here. I think he knows that the fanbase in Indy doesn't have the love for him as they have for Luck.

Hearing this guy talk, his poise, everything about him just makes me want to jump in line for opening home day tickets just to hear the excitement from the crowd as he comes out the tunnel. Simply electrifying.

I cannot wait for Fan Appreciation Day for the training camp. I will certainly be there for that.

I watched it on youtube last night...then I hit "replay" n watched it again...and then again.

What an awesome kid!! Give him the tools to work with and he is going to shine! I won't be disappointed if we end up with Luck, but...I WANT RGIII in the B&G. He has "it"! So much potential and ability.

I may actually cry tears of joy when they announce his name on the podium. "With the second pick of the 2012 NFL Draft, the Washington Redskins select Baylor QB, Robert Griffin 3rd" I only have one leg, but I promise I'll run thru the house screaming like an idiot!!

Ten years ago it would have ticked me off. Now I just nod my head slowly and weep.
