Default Redskins - "Sleepers in the East"

One of the first of many such articles I expect to see.

CNY can update his Mike Shanahan profile pic with the pick that is in the article.

As a Redskin fan, I'll take the love almost anywhere it comes from. After being the laughing stock of the league for the better part of the last twenty years any kind words are nice to hear.

I don't see why not. If Cincy can do what they did last year why can't we?

I stopped after the opening sentence. "Does somebody want to explain to me why the Washington Redskins aren't getting any love as sleepers?" Maybe he should learn the definition of sleepers.

I expect to be improved, but not necessarily Cream of the Crop.
The article speaks nothing about the OLine and the author thinks our CBs with our new Safeties will not be a liability, so in that regards I must downgrade his expectations.

Meh, I'm sick of buying into the offseason hype only to be let down and talking about the draft before October rolls around. All I'm cheering for this year is improvement across the team. I want to see young guys playing and the looks of a team on the rise I'll be one happy camper.

When you start out with a premise of demanding critics disproving a negative, you're in trouble.

Anyone else notice that the writer didn't mention the skins' oline...at all.

If that wasn't such an obvious shortcoming, I'd be excited about our chances this year. As it stands, I'm just excited about watching Griffin.

It doesn't seem there are that many teams that get better right away just by getting a good rookie QB. The teams that have done it recently made significant other changes (Baltimore and the Jets got a new head coach; the Bengals got A.J. Green at the same time as Dalton, and dumped dead weight). I'm not saying it's impossible, I just really have my doubts. Even for Griffin there will be a steep learning curve.

It was Green, and slowly building up a very underrated offensive line and an equally as underrated defense.

We really should have a rule against posting Bleacher Report "articles". It is a site for wannabe writers to post their pieces and is less credible than most things posted here on any other fan site.
