I've never been to a game in the Superdome so I can't give you a comparison, but I can tell you that Rayjay is by far the best stadium experience Ive had for an NFL game. I mean that in terms of the amenities etc. My best stadium experiences are really tied to my emotional connection to the team...certain games at RFK for example. You would have fun.

Man you really are close. I am out in the county so I have a 20 minute drive to the stadium.

Take the pros my man. Stay home and check the game out there. Not that I wanted to give Jerruh none of my money, but I had a much better time going to Dallas than tring to get 50 yard line seats here for a Skins Dallas game and give Snyder any of my lout.

I will have a group of our Local Fans going probably 10-20 so we will be ready to party. Love the Tampa DC games in Tampa!! Especially a winnable one.

We'll definatley have more details as we get closer to the event. And yeah, tickets should be quite reasonable, all things considered.

I say GOOO Keino! Hopefully we'll get to meet each other, since I'm probably going alllll the way over there as well! Me and the girl are considering a 2nd trip and Disney for a week sounds like a very interesting possibility, lol.

Obviously we would be including a visit to Mike and his world famous tailgate against Atlanta or Cincy... if he is willing to accept us, of course ;-)

I've been waiting for Mike to chime in here. Both he and Kenny have been here and gone to games with me. It sounds like we can have a pretty lively bunch if Skins-R-Us and I can get together and organize something. Mike and I led a group of Skins fan in song (Hail to the Redskins of course) on the way into the stadium for the 2005 playoff game.

Skins-R-Us - What are your thoughts on tailgaiting at Al Lopez Park? My thinking there is that it is one of the cheaper cash lots, with plenty of room and decent public restrooms. The folks at my job tend to tailgate there.

I'm 50/50 on traveling to this game... which is 50% more than I have ever been for one of these in the past, so don't count me out.

Keino, you know what I'll be expecting from you, if I do this.
And some more of your wife's Sesame Chicken might clinch the deal!
Yo, I've been trying to recreate that myself, ever since...

Rich, just because my wife put it on a plate with rice, doesn't make it her Sesame chicken...I cooked that sir! I'll give you the recipe.

I suspect I will be able to satisfy your expectations if you make the trip.

I may try to make the trip down again. I went in '05 for the playoffs and was back down there in when the whole Sean Taylor mess happened. It would be nice to get up with you again Sean. My wife's B-day is on the 25th, so maybe I can make it a get out of town present...without kids!

Drew I would love to see you again. If you make it, I will have to concoct some "Drewgaritas".

No, looking for a hotel with a restaurant/bar or walking distance to one. I'll take a taxi to the game.

Then you will want to look at the either Hyatt, downtown or teh Grand Hyatt out near the airport, the Marriott at the airport, or the Marriott Waterside in downtown. Your best bet will be to stay out near the airport, which will save you on cab fare and I believe the each provide courtesy shuttles to and from the airport.

Renaissance Hotel in the International Mall is a mile from the stadium, less than one mile from the airport and has plenty of restaurants/bars attached to the mall. Not sure the cost but it would be the perfect location!
