Driving to Nats Park

I'm going to the game Saturday and was thinking about driving (previously I have only taken metro), is this recommended at all? How is traffic usually on Saturday's? Any tips on cash lot parking? I've never driven in downtown DC before, so I'm not sure what to expect....

Only time I've driven I had a parking pass. Never used the cash lot. I went on a Friday evening and was too painful ..... of course most people are trying to get out of DC at 6:00 pm ... Don't think you'll have any issues on Saturday. ........ Have a great time!~

I only drove one time and I had a pass as well. Traffic was not a big deal.

Thanks, looks like they have a few cash lots that are only a 3-5 block walk so I'll try that.
