To his credit, Stallworth DID play ST's last year

I think that Armstrong was really hurt by Grossman's inaccuracy and arm strength issues last year and he regressed badly.. I think he realizes this is his last shot with the Redskins. He has deep speed and decent size, but his hands have been inconsistent.. Above all our receivers, he might be the one to benefit from RGIII's ability to throw a very accurate deep ball

They are still productive and are light years ahead of Armstrong, Austin etc. Maybe they are overpaid but why cut people still capable of producing so you can keep the cheap guy who can't catch a cold much less 40/50 balls in the NFL ?
As it pertains to Cooley, I agree. This offense isn't so crazy stocked with talent that they can afford to just dump a productive guy because there's a younger body hanging around. Paul will likely be used in very specific matchups and provides coverage at WR should there be a rash of injuries, but that shouldn't mean that Cooley is done.

I think Moss and Gaffney, while still productive, can be considered in a different light because of the additions of Garcon and Morgan who have shown actual ability in the NFL. Dumping Cooley for Paul weakens the team, but that's not as much of a guarantee if Moss and/of Gaffney move on.
