As it pertains to Cooley, I agree. This offense isn't so crazy stocked with talent that they can afford to just dump a productive guy because there's a younger body hanging around. Paul will likely be used in very specific matchups and provides coverage at WR should there be a rash of injuries, but that shouldn't mean that Cooley is done.
I think Moss and Gaffney, while still productive, can be considered in a different light because of the additions of Garcon and Morgan who have shown actual ability in the NFL. Dumping Cooley for Paul weakens the team, but that's not as much of a guarantee if Moss and/of Gaffney move on.
