Idiots, we haven't had a playoff appearance since 2007, how much more "development" can we be expected to take? The front office made a ballsy move, and at least they made a move that seems promising. I think Hope means more to us right now then anything else.
And how can someone be critical about events that haven't even happened yet? Why give RGIII a hard time when the season hasn't even started? Patience for what? Those people are crazy Lavar703

He will make some bonehead mistakes. Everyone does. But these mistakes will diminish over time, and they will be offset by spectacular, jaw-dropping plays that will make this team the most fun to watch possibly in the history of this franchise. I predict many sleepless nights before game day, and many of us recording games to revisit what we just saw on the field.

Thoughts? Is Thomas Loverro just a blow hard looking for reads?

He didn't really go above and beyond trying to knock RG3 down pegs or anything, he's simply just pointing out the reality of the weight that is being put on RG3's shoulders to unbury this organization.

I can agree with that Dave. Generally I enjoy listening to him but some times he can really piss me off.

Pleased with what I saw from Griff tonight. Not enough action to come to any grandiose conclusions, but he did what he's supposed to as a rookie starting QB in his first professional action.

4-6, 70 YDS, 145.3 QB Rating, TD. I'm pretty satisfied with his NFL debut.

Agreed. I wish I could have seen more. From what I saw he was very good. The down the middle of the field throws impressed me. And then came Grossman....arrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggg

My wife and I flipped on the Redskins post game and right in the middle of RG3's press conference, he said "we were doing... you know, retarded, or ridiculous things...". I don't know the context of what he was actually talking about, but I don't think he appropriately used the word. Kind of threw me off guard.

Eh... Normal people aren't 100% politically correct.

Should have been 5-6 76 yards(ish). That looked like a catch to me by Garcon on the sideline..

Hi everyone, new member here... I would've started a new thread but since I can't I'm left to ask my question within another topic. I couldn't watch the game live so I'll be recording the replay on the NFL Network this afternoon (4pm east side). For those who have seen the game, what stood out? I know Griffin's comfort level may be what many would cite, but how about some of the younger players along the OL? Were there players who didn't see the field that you expected they would? Actually, I'm interested any observations that can help me assess the team's performance. Thanks!

Welcome aboard.
I think what stood out to me was how calm and fluid he looked in the pocket. He looks so smooth and his footwork is nice.

Welcome aboard! Gettis showed increased improvement as the game wore on. Compton had a very bad day. Griff & Garcon looked great. Rex was beyond horrible. Cousins had some very bad moments, but also some nice plays. Defense will be a force to be reckoned with. You will enjoy the game tonight.
