I gave them a B. Mainly only grading the first few series as those are the ones that mattered the most imo. Im also adding in that we have a rookie QB and other young pieces in the mix so graded fairly easily for the first preseason game.

RG3 had the start I wanted to see. I didnt care about him looking special in the first preseason game but he came in and looked like he had command of the offense. Im sure his nerves had to be running high, but he handled himself well. He hit his passes from the pocket and was not looking to run at the first sign of a defender.

Garcon looked like he can be a #1. Now he needs to prove that he can look like a #1 every week plus for entire games (which is out of his control til the regular season due to play time in preseason). Hankerson looks like his hip is not a problem, which is real good to see.

On the other side of the ball, the Def front 7 looked like they could get pressure. Even if not hitting the QB, they were able to make him move and change some throws or dump it out early.

Played limited time, so cant read to much into it. But I saw some things I wanted to see from the team this early.

only grading the rg3 drives i give them a b as the run game didnt click until the td drive. polumbus was awful and compton should replace him tommorow.gettis got better as game went on. i give the rex series a d and kirk gets a c for having a good pocket pressence and looking good in 2 min drill until he threw that int.

how was Polumbus awful? we ran better to the right and RG3 didnt get touched at all while out there. The bills dline are formidable opponents with Mario Williams, Marcel Dareus, and Mark Anderson.

as ive stated in other threads. im not as worried at all about the oline as many other people. its basically the same oline that finished out last season by running the ball well and not giving up extreme amounts of sacks, except trent williams is better than willie smith. Polumbus is an upgrade over Jamal Brown who has giving us nothing in 2 prior years here. Gettis looked like he fit right in and very well could force Chester to the bench at some point this season.

I agree. I didn't see anything wrong with the line either. I actually saw Royster miss a few holes that were there.

I gave it a C overall. If there hadn't been a bad exchange resulting in a fumble, I would have given RGIII an A. The first 2 series were probably scripted to settle him down. Where he shined was the 3rd series. Grossman was horrible and Cousins showed he was a developmental project.

My impression was a B, (first unit)

Considering the injuries, rookies, and first year players, I was not disappointed.

Griffin and Garcon are going to be the real deal. Liked what I saw from Hankerson.

Hope Cooley doesn't have to play much fullback. Paul has to hold on to the ball. Royster looked rusty at first but started to warm up. Same with the O-line, but they managed to keep Griffin's pants clean against what should be a very good d-line.

While he didn't play with the first string, I'd say at this moment Banks is in trouble. Aldrick Robinson, on the other hand, showed well.

I liked Cousins demeanor and awareness a lot. Only a matter of time before they thank Rex for his services and wish him well.

Not sure why you say Polumbus was aweful.

i think it has a bunch to do with the misconception of people thinking our line is actually worse than it is.

to be honest, we havent had depth on the line like this in years, even if said depth isnt great, its much better than what we have had in the past years. This staff actually drafts linemen unlike past regimes...

i realize its only been one partial game, 3 drives, and that our oline could get destroyed next week. but im still not so worried about it

Gave 'em a C based on overall game play. Rex looked bad, didn't like the 1st team fumbled handoff. 3rd drive was real good- nice chemistry between RGIII and Garcon. Cousins got some work to do

I gave the offense a D overall other than Griffin it was pretty brutal qbing. Grossman was a total mess, Cousins was sporadic and missed a td to Banks if he would got it there. 7 pts no real ball movement. Pretty bad overall.

Monty was awful with the 1's he got pushed back at least 4 times that I saw just terrible.

Polumbus held up well not sure why he was awful to anyone. Gettis was solid as well.

RG was terrific poise and touch really didn't throw 1 bad pass, one was a drop the other was called out of bounds,

I did notice Monty get pushed back once real bad, but you have to remember, Buffalo has probably the most solid front 4 in the NFL right now.

B overall. Partly because Im tempering my excitement (because RG3 was solid), but I thought about a C after re-watching what Rex did last night. He is TERRRRRRBLE...

The upgrade at the QB position is already easily apparent and the fact that I thought Kirk Cousins would push RG3 is laughable. Sex Dragon needs to fade into boliva

Give rg3 a B+,and the rest of the offense a c.rex picked up where he left off last season, and KC has a whole lot to learn.think the running game has a lot to work on.
