What are you looking for against the Bears?
One week away from preseason game 2 vs. the Bears
Here's what I would love to see:
1. More of the same from RGIII. Wouldn't mind seeing him take the full 1st quarter. I would also see the offense open up a little more.
2. Would like to see Cousins against the Bears 1st/2nd teamers. See how he can handle increased pressure. We already know what Rex is capable of. Ugghhh.
3. Better run blocking and production from our running backs.
4. More production from Davis, Paul & Cooley
5. Would like to see both Gano & Rackers attempt field goals.
6. Strong defensive competition and performance across the board.
7. Dominate the Bears in all three phases of the game.
8. NO INJURIES

I'd prefer the offense remain as vanilla as possible during the preseason. These games are good for letting Griff get used to the speed of opposing defenses, but I don't want us to open up the playbook until the games count. Particularly if the Shanahans have tricks up their collective sleeve with respect to utilizing Griff's unique skillet. I'd like the Saints' defense to be surprised by what they see.
And I'm in full agreement with the rest of your points, particularly No. 8. I think the Skins dodged a bullet with Trent Williams Thursday night.

I hear he makes a mean beignet with that skillet. I kid.
I'm not for exposing all of the potential nuances of the offensive playbook, but I do believe the playbook needs to be opened up to practice some of his skills versus opposing defenses.

I suppose it's a balancing act. But if it's my team I err on the side of keeping anything interesting hush-hush until Week 1. Let him practice the poop out of those plays at Redskins Park, but just work on getting comfortable with the NFL during the preseason.
I wouldn't mind seeing what we saw in the Bills game the rest of the way. A few running plays, a few different kinds of passing plays, etc. If the first time Griff runs the ball by design is in New Orleans I'll be a happy fan.

I want to see RGIII unleash a deep pass. I would also like to see more of Alfred Morris and hopefully get to see Lance Lewis a little bit.

I have no problems keeping it vanilla for Griff. Let him take in the speed of the game and keep transitioning his reads.
I would definitely like to see Cousins work with the first or second unit too. We definitely know what RG3andout can do, or can't do for that matter.
I'd also like to see more from the running game. I thought Royster looked horrible.

Pretty much the same for RG3 as in the Bills game. Our OL to keep working on giving as much QB protection as possible.
Also like to see more of Cousins.

I'd like to see Cousins get PT against good defensive players, so long as it doesn't impact Griff's schedule. Right now there's the potential he ends up getting misplaced Colt Brennan-like fan love for doing well against guys who'll never make an NFL roster.

Defenses will begin game planning and the Redskins should too. I'd like to see them use different formations so RG III will see what defenses will look like against those formations. The Redskins are doing more 11-on-11 drills in camp to prepare him but it would be good for him to see it from opponents.

I'm looking for more RG3 progress.
still stay somewhat vanilla.
cousins to progress also
the defense keep showing the beast mode .
gano and rackers ,one should start pulling away from the other.
of course win the game with no major injuries !!!!

I agree with this. I am hoping Rackers wins this battle. I was hoping Gano could become a solid kicker, but I don't know if it will ever work out for him. Rackers may not have quite the leg strength that Gano has, but he kicks higher (which will help with the blocks) and has been more accurate than Gano. He is also a proven veteran kicker that has made a lot of kicks in crunch time.
Also, I just read that Trent Williams has a bone bruise in his foot and is day-to-day. I hope that doesn't linger into the season. Those bone bruises can linger on sometimes. Oh.. and lets hope that he doesn't medicate himself for the pain.

My preference is Gano because of age and leg strength. I'd also like to see him have one full season with half-decent special teams play in front of him. The guy has shown flashes of greatness and his ceiling with the Skins is much higher than that of Rackers, who can't give us more than a year or two either way.
