Hey, I'm glad you guys are not worried and of course Dems are not upset about job growth. We're the party that actually cares about human beings, guys.

Well, perhaps I was not specific enough. The Dems are the party that cares whether human beings have the chance, whatever their station in life, to achieve their goals. Republicans also care about human beings, but only rich old, white men. Oh, they also care about fetuses. They don't care what happens to those fetuses once they are born--unless they happen to be the son or daughter of a rich old white man, but they do care about that fetus when it is in the womb.

I didn't grow up in a rich family. I love when you liberals try to paint yourselves as the saviors for all. Guess what? Handouts don't work. When you say "chance", I hear "freebie". There's more than enough chance for people in this country to make themselves into something. There are smart people who know it's easier to manipulate the system you bleeding hearts have set up than to better themselves otherwise. They have no incentive when they can get by on the freebies.

The only people getting by on freebies, Dave, are the fatcats who depend on corporate welfare. Like Enron and Bechtel and Halliburton, and other companies with close ties to the Bush administration.
Did you pay income taxes last year? I'll bet you did. So did I. Guess what: Enron paid no federal income taxes for four of the last five years of its existence. Then it went bust, defrauded its shareholders and energy consumers all over the western United States, and threw thousands of people out of work.
Mr Bush says that's fair. You agree with him. Congratulations. You both support welfare queens in expensive business suits.

Where did I say I agree that big companies shouldn't have to pay taxes? Stop f**king trying to pigeon hole me. Just because you may walk in line with all bleeding heart liberals, don't act like I'm some rich priviledged kid who does so with other rich kids.
I'd also like to know where Bush said it was fair. I'm pretty sure the guys running the companies that defrauded people broke the law so no opinion matters.
Nice twist to ignore the basis of my post, which is you folks who push for handouts think you're helping people when you're not. If you were, we'd have come a hell of alot farther than we have. Congrats and bleed oh heart bleed.

Ask Russia what it was like when everyone was "equal" and the government "handed out" everything. Is that caring for human beings?
Truthfully, underneath the blanket of "human kindness" the Democrats try to wrap themselves up in, lies a group blindly leading this nation in government control... equality (despite how hard you work)... and basically, communism.
Spoke to a friend who just got back from 3 weeks in Russia... things are going great! Everyone now owns the homes the goverment used to "let" them live in... good food on the shelves... people even can own cars... and who do they thank for it?
Ronald Reagan.
(But don't ask CBS to explain why that is to you!)

You mean to tell me that after three months of being stuck at 6.1% unemployment dropped by a whole 1/10%? Yippeee!
Call back after a few months of declining unemployment and I'll start celebrating.
By the way, I hope unemployment drops no matter who is in office.

My apologies, I was just citing the NY Times link you provided, which said the reduction to 6.0% was down from a three month standstill of 6.1%. Sorry your link had it wrong.
But seriously, I'll stand up and salute if the trend continues without any further budget-busting incentives. I'll still worry about the long term effect of the historically high budget and debt deficits.

How so Spence, not your party, but you!
I know this< I am a Republican, but I am not one to beat Spence or whatever. I do me best to make my party better for all, and I support anyone who does the same on either side.
I love my nation and support it, I beleave my nation should have to healthy parties.
I could trash the Clintons and whatever in a easy fashion, but to do that would mean I am not focused in supporting my party and keeping there direction with me and there main base. Is it wroung to want checks and balance? Is it wrong to want a tax cut when living pay check to pay check? Am I stupid because i did my homework and saw it is fair to do that? Why should I pay two retirements to make elities feel good? Why should I think every war is Vietnam when I should want war to be for freedom and the greater cause of man kind?
You might want to skip the web site lectures, and respect all for there desire and beliefs. You hate Bush! then bring someone forth that can better our nation over all. But don't act like any of this is cut and dry and there is a simple solution. And don't act like 2-3rds of the Dem party did not support the actions taken. They did, and there is no power grab.
It is your take to support an idea for your party. If you choose to run the Dean angle and just roll off the 10% then fine. But you are a fool there. Spence fight for an issue that helps your countrymen, Intrest rates on loans and CC for the blue collar. Good lord man, smell the coffee.
Understand politics, do you think for one minute that the guy who has let you all talk smack time and time again isn't going to roll out the red carpet after the Dem primary, then you are crazy.
Stop crying and jion us by meeting use in the middle. Your election hopes are gone anyway, but you can bet your a$$ that Saddam and Laden will be rolloed out right before just for good measure. BS as far as I see it, but politics I understand.

I'd respond to this [perhaps], but I just can't understand any of it. I'm not sure Cowboys fans speak the English.
