President leading Florida in early polls

Florida voters trust President Bush more than any of his Democratic rivals to run the war in Iraq and restore the economy, a poll released Monday indicated.

The Mason-Dixon Florida Poll said Bush's overall approval rating has held steady - although his disapproval numbers have risen since last summer. But in head-to-head matchups with his major Democratic challengers, Bush led by 20 points or more.

There's not even a democratic nominee and most of the public knows very little about the candidates this early .. polls of this nature are basically meaningless.

I think IF I were the only candidate of my party, running against several members of the opposition party, I too would have better numbers just based on the theory that I have the whole pie and the opposition carves it up into many pieces not equally shared.
I would like to see a one-to-one poll - if and when the democrats ever decide who the heck there standard bearer is going to be

Funny... PSF listed several posts in another thread which showed the President losing ground... yet no one ever brought this statement up.

of course they are...all polls that don't portray the democrats as winners are meaningless! hahaha
That didn't stop spence from posting polls about the democratic party was in the lead vs the president.

Was that me? No .... no it wasn't. I don't remember posting in any threads like that .... so I guess your basic logic is clump the actions of anyone who isn't in Bush's thong together and think of them as one entity?
