No, it wouldn't surprise me at all.

Spence - this would really make sence. Russ Grimm comes back as OC and is groom at Gibbs replacement. Williams is brought in as an assitant to Grimm and moves to OC when Grimm becomes HC. Of course Gibbs remain President of the team and Danny just pays the bill. ...... and life it but a dream!

bosshog is correct about the ST coach under Gibbs. I tried to name him in my previous post, but the name eluded me. Many thanks.

I just wanted to drop in and say congrats to all you skins fans. I grew up in Arlington, VA so I know what kind of a coach the guy is.
It'll be interesting to see whether he brings Bugel, Grimm etc.
Too bad Stephen Davis was run out of town, he's exactly the type of back Gibbs gets the most out of.
No offense, but hopefully Gibbs can get Arrington to shut up and play instead of prancing around.
Anyways, from a Broncos fan, good luck this offseason.
Oh and sorry for dumping Dalton on you guys!

That's okay. Thanks for paying Daryl Gardener all that money for less than a season of work. We will pick him up again for minimum wage this offseason! Is his wrist better now?
Thanks for stopping by. Have a good offseason.

Hopefully not. This is Gibbs' team again. We're talkin' the best and brightest here. Jackson can't be differentiated enough from Spurrier to have any credibility IMO. We didn't get above 20th in O the past two years.
Grimm & Williams could be good additions. You know they know the system.

Nope. You have to be careful with ex-players. Like for instance Gary Clark and Art Monk. Just because they were great players doe snot mean that translates into the discipline of coaching. Doug Williams and Russ Grimm haver coaching experience, therefore, could be considered good choices. Like Tom led to, you gusy also assume these ex-players want to coach. They may be enjoying their lives as is and not want the rigors of an NFL lifestyle anymore, may have children, families, etc...

spence, i heard it on the radio. AM1570 where they talk about the ravens. someone called in a mentioned it. he said that if he goes to the redskins, they should take his name out of the ring of fame in their stadium, lol. they are such haters....i love it cuz i hat them too! i believe he is under contract with the ravens but if he cam here to coach, it would be a promotion and thats okay....some deal as russ grimm.

Byner has some roll with the Ravens currently. I believe something dealing with player development.

I'm not sure what Byner would do here. I suppose he could be a sub-assistant or something like that, but Don Breaux is coaching the running backs. He's got a long history with Gibbs.
