I would say that we are lucky; however, it has nothing to do with luck: unlike an oft praised contemporary, he has class, loyalty and is not some merc. The Redskins made him as much as he made the Redskins.

That is why Gibbs is even better than Parcells. Is and will be the Man.

That is so true. Parcells is a great coach but he lacks one thing. That is CLASS!!! Gibbs could have went to the Falcons with Vick but he decide to come back home. What would Parcell done? He would have went to the Falcons.

They are a bit mad don't you think. LOL. If Gibbs comes to you and say he'd like to get back into coaching, you hire him on the spot.

I dont believe this at all, it sounds like the Falcons management trying to head off any criticism coming from the fans who wanted them to hire Gibbs. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution said that Blank approached Gibbs, not the other way around. Blank wouldnt give him total control(which he wanted) and would lowball him on salary. I think Gibbs mentioned to Blank that he was considering going to back to coaching with the redskins and blank doesnt want to look like the owner who let a great coach get anyway.

Look at it from the other side of the mirror: If Gibbs came back from the racetrack to coach Atlanta after Snyder had lobbied him time and time again to coach the skins, wouldnt Snyder issue a statement or leak out that Gibbs came to him and talked about joined the skins?

Gibbs bleeds for D.C. and I don't think there is one Redskin(fan or player) who wouldn't bleed for him. Period. Bruce Smith doesn't count he was never a real Redskin.
