I knew that the thought would cross his mind since Gibbs returned. He is desperate for a SB ring. Who knows they might let him take up a roster spot just to get it. I would prefer they add him to the staff instead though.

He said he would be interested IF Gibbs called. There's the key - IF Gibbs calls. ........ On the flip side of this, I think Bruce needs to get into coaching - he make a good one IMO.

Please say it ain't so!!! Please - anyone??

This is me if this happens -->
This is Bruce -->
This is Bruce playing next year -->
This is Bruce getting the sh*t beat out of him -->

Can someone create a comic that shows Bruce Smith trying to get to the QB by going the long way and then the RB runs right through the gigantic hole he just vacated???

Ok - calm down, deep breaths ........ OK, now I see there is a big IF involved here. Hopefully Gibbs' has finished his tape review of the season and realizes Smith is really an offensive player disguised as a Redskin D-lineman.

I can't imagine that Gibbs would want him.

I won't believe this until the Times breaks a big story and is right this time.

You know I'd believe it if it wasnt Jody Foldesy and the Times.......Bruce is done and we need to free up his salary space for a real player. Don't believe the Hype (crap)........

Ultimately, this is likely to be a decision made more by Gregg Williams than Joe Gibbs. As long as the price is reasonable [and since when is Bruce Smith willing to play for a reasonable salary?], I think Gibbs would have Bruce Smith back if Gregg Williams wanted it.

I suspect, however, that one look at game tapes from this past season will convince Mr Williams that he needs to look in another direction.

Gibbs won't even ask. He is not a Gibbs player, period.

I don't know what makes anyone think he will be a good coach either. Selfish players rarely make good coaches.
