It always comes up this time of year. He's a finalist again this year, but he probably won't make it in. If he does though, I'm driving to Canton for it.

I fear he will not make it in because people like Peter King have too much influence on the voters.

King was on the radio yesterday and used Monk as an example of someone he won't vote for based solely on numbers. Nice Pete, you apparently slept through the 80's. Schmuck

Last I heard was from Mike Wilbon who said he felt Monk deserved to get in and was one of the people trying to convince voters to vote for him. But he also said he felt that Monk wouldn't make it in because people feel he wasn't the type of reciever to dominant a game.
