Default Drew Henson

The Times article confirmed that Redskin officials attended Drew henson's workout.

Times:

" Brunell isn't the only quarterback the Redskins are eyeing, but he is the top choice. The team also was represented at Drew Henson's workout yesterday in Houston, and today coaches and scouts will meet to finalize a list of other veteran passers, including trade targets like the 49ers' Jeff Garcia and Seattle Seahawks' Trent Dilfer."

If we plan to sign a veteran, have a young, future star in Ramsey, why woudl we even bother with Henson? This may be further evidence that if Brunell or Garcia is inked, Ramsey will be dealt.

Kenny....did you and I not talk about this? a week and half ago?

It would be pretty funny for Casserly to get a few picks out of us wouldn't it?

20 teams went to the workout. Thats nearly 2/3rds of the league. I don't think all those teams are interested in trading for Henson. But if he went to Dallas or the Giants (Teams in the market for a QB) then we would want to have the option to scout him before we play them.

It also helps because with 20 teams there, we can scout their scouts to get an idea of what they think about Henson and how that might impact a our play for Brunell.

Its just having all your bases covered ..all good teams will do that. I would expect Green Bay (if they are smart) send some scounts and take a hard look at this guy. Farve aint getting any younger.

Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Dallas, and Miami I would think are at the top of the list for him. Why would we get him over Ramsey? We wouldn't gain any draft picks in a transaction like that. They are also basically the same age, if not both exactly 24.
