Depends on what we get for Ramsey and Champ
If we lose Champ and get an extra 1st rounder definitely get Taylor.

do we really want to be like the teams who passed on Champ in his draft? ... I think the usual response from the Pro's who build NFL teams is always take best talent ... its a mistake to draft for position needs

Yup. If we get an extra pick, sure. If we don't, I say we use that pick on Udeze.

Love to have him but only if we have two first rounders.

I agree. I will say that I wouldn't be mad if we drafted him, but I would take Udeze with that pick if we just had one first.

Take Defensive Line. We all saw it this season if you do not have a good defensive line it won't matter how many pro bowlers you have in the secondary. Especially with losing Champ regardless of who we sign it will be a decrease in talent and we will need a good pass rush to offset that loss.

Goodguy.....even if we only have one 1st, I will jump up from my couch and my head will probably hit my 8 foot ceiling....if they call out Sean Taylors name with the 5th round pick. I have absolutely no problem with either Taylor or Udeze. WE NEED DEFENSE.

Regardless if the safety position is one of great need or not. If Champ is likely to go...then we need help in the defensive backfield. Sure...Taylor isn't going to cover the likes of Chad Johnson, Plaxico Burress or Randy Moss next year one-on-one, but he will bring a new element to the defense that we haven't seen in YEARS...
I'm hoping Sean Taylor is our #5 pick regardless of how many more 1st rounders we get. If we do end up getting more...then he is pure luxury...and all Skins fans should crack a smile on draft day if he is available at #5.

Does anyone really think Taylor will look anymore superhuman than Champ did with our D line?
If we ignore the D line and take Taylor, he will have ample opportunities to showcase his pass coverage skills as they will most certainly be put to the test.

I think our D-line will be addressed...if not through a first rounder than through free agency.
Every year, us Skins fans worry over one or two positions assuming the sub-par performances there will continue. But every year our FO seems to get the job done.
I'm crossing my fingers!
