18Mil...True or Untrue
Someone at work told me that Indianapolis is offering Champ a contract with an 18Mil signing bonus.. is this true....? I didn't believe him because he didn't tell me about thestipulations of the contract.....any new news...?

No way this would happen. They had to restructure 6 starting players just last week so they could get under cap to think about resigning Manning. They are really worried about having enough money to resign him.

If we can talk contract numbers with Brunell, eventhough he is still under contract with the Jags, then why can't Reale discuss numbers with the Colts?

youre right, he is allowed to discuss money now. Otherwise, whats the point? And no team would be talking to Champ at all, they would be talking to the skins about trade terms. But whats the point of that if you cant talk money to champ? |

There is no way the Colts would even think of going after Champ for the above reasons, everyone else mentioned
