Thumbs down Redskins Dot Com

Sucks!!! (I know, no real News there)

Not one mentiion of the Portis transaction. I mean really, the official team website doesn't offer any news of one of the Biggest transactions since the Herchel Walker trade?

horrible...just plain horrible...it's funny how the richest sports franchise can't get a decent media firm to build a better site

It's funny that Snyder is considered a new-wave businessman with lots to teach the stuffy ol' NFL and he can't even put a decent website up. I guess the site reflects Snyder's priorities: He does not want to inform the fans, he wants them to buy stuff. You're not a loyal customer to be courted, you're a nameless, faceless wallet to be emptied.

You can decide for yourself whether or not you think that's a good thing, but it is something to keep in mind.

true, but nfl.com and espn and stuff reports about it, so you'd think that the team would. i think i checked the roster a few weeks ago though and people like tre johnson were still on it.

I don't like the site either but they can't announce something that is not yet official. Heck, neither Bailey or Portis can sign their contracts until March 3.

It's not like ESPN that likes to print rumors as news because it comes from one of their unnamed sources.

Agreed, I think most of us here could seriously design a better site. Like Odyn said, I hope that SkinsGuru can come up with something better. I went to a few other official team sites the other day and ours is by far the worst. I would think a guy like Snyder would at least know some basic marketing...Oh well, at least hR is around.
