Just for Fun : Madden Results
New Broncos vs New Redskins
On Demo mode ... so i wouldn't run up the numbers.
Denver won 30-29
Q.Griffen : 25-95 and 3 TDS .... 5 catches 40 yds
C.Portis : 15-23 yds (horrible) 2 catches 23 yds
Champ vs L. Coles
Coles 1 catch for 5 yards ... And i saw Brunnell throw to him at least 7-8 times ( i didnt watch the whole thing )
Bailey: 4 tackles .... 4 deflected passes and 1 sack.
Bailey: 4 KO returns 96 yds
2 PR 38 yds ... 1 (lost) fumble
As for The Redskins new #1 DB
Rod Smith had 7-177 against Smoot
Lelie had 5-68 against Bauman
Washington got 2 KO return TD's to keep it close from Ladell Betts
And Spurrier was still the coach so Wash wasnt playing how they will be under Gibbs.
Went for 2 once.
Faked a FG
and played 4-5 wide 75% of the time.

Rod Smith wouldn't rack up that much yardage if they played three times.

You know what I did in my Skins/Cowboys game? Threw for 3 TDs with Ramsey, Coles had 175 yards recieveing and 2 tds, Portis rushed for 190 and 2 tds. D dominated too.

Something must have gone wrong in your Demo. At least Coles must have beaten Bailey like Toomer or Galloway did several times. CP will destroy D's!

Spider - I've drafted Rod Smith too high the past two years in fantasy - that's the bitterness talking.

Well... under Spurrier anything is possible. Let's face it, he would mess up the Montana-Craig-Rice trio. Gibbs, that's a difference maker...

Rod Smith is a very dependable receiver. Not as flashy as many of his caliber, but I think it might be fair to say that Rod Smith has been the Stephen Davis of WRs. Gets the job done and does it with little fanfare and the man works hard. I have been a Rod Smith fan for a while.
